We first met Hugo in Mallorca. Captivated by his work, we acquired a photograph of Los Angeles there, which we carefully had shipped to the Netherlands. The experience was so positive that one year later, we naturally thought of him again for a bigger piece for our second home. The transaction, although carried out from a distance, was handled with perfect simplicity and reliability. We are absolutely delighted with the result, which now graces both of our homes. The first time I saw something from Hugo's work, I knew I wanted one of his pieces. For a while, I followed what he was doing, longing with every photo he published, but knowing that ultimately, the piece that would be meant for me would find me in a different way.
On a trip he made to NY, he posted a story of the photo I would fall in love with and that would ultimately end up decorating my office. I wanted that photo from the moment I saw it, and it finally made its way into my hands.
I love Hugo's work for several reasons, the main one being the authenticity and soul present in his captures. The love he puts into it and how easy it is to connect with Hugo transports you energetically to the place he captures.

I purchased four photographs of well-known places of New York and later two from Paris. What I liked about the work of Hugo is the authenticity of his photos, which perfectly capture the fascinating spirit of both cities. I lived in these cities with my family and know them well.
